This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party script that profiles you. That is why you are not being shown a consent banner: under Dutch and EU law, consent is required for storing or reading information on your device except where it is strictly necessary, and this site stores only one strictly functional preference that you set yourself.
When you use the light/dark switch in the header, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit:
Because this value never leaves your device and exists only to honour a preference you actively chose, it is strictly necessary for a function you requested and does not require consent.
This site loads its typefaces - Space Grotesk, IBM Plex Sans and IBM Plex Mono - from Google Fonts. Your browser fetches those files directly from Google, so Google receives your IP address and general request information. Google does not set a cookie for this. This is the only third-party request the site makes.
If you would rather the site made no external requests at all, the fonts can be served from our own domain, fonts have been self-hosted.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs of requests, including IP addresses. These are not cookies and are not used to track you across sites; they exist for security and troubleshooting. They are covered in our Privacy Policy.
Clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings removes the theme preference. The site will then simply open in its default light theme. Nothing else of yours is held in your browser by this site.
If we ever add analytics, embedded media or any other technology that stores or reads information on your device beyond what is strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first through a proper consent mechanism, and update this page before doing so.
